Meet The Team
The Quigleys began their journey in pet care back in 2016 through volunteering, fostering, and working hands-on in the world of animal welfare. What started as a passion quickly turned into a profession, with both team members holding roles such as adoption counselor, kennel technician, intake specialist, behavior team member, and eventually shelter operations leadership at local nonprofits serving homeless pets.
Over the years, they fostered and rehabilitated countless animals in their home—many with complex behavioral or medical needs. These firsthand experiences gave them the skills and empathy to work confidently with pets who may have been turned away by other providers.
Quigley Animal Care was built on that foundation. Today, they offer a calm, private, kennel-free grooming experience in their mobile salon, attentive in-home pet sitting, personalized dog walks, and thoughtful behavior consultations. Their approach is rooted in trust, transparency, and treating every pet like their own—because they’ve walked in the shoes of both caregivers and pet parents.

Why We Love This Work

We're Sid & Sage,

We’re the heart behind Quigley Animal Care—a couple of longtime pet lovers turned professional caretakers. With years of experience in shelter work, behavior support, grooming, and small business management, we bring a unique blend of skill, compassion, and dedication to every walk, every groom, and every pet we meet.
We started QAC because we wanted something different—something quieter, more personal, and built around trust. We believe in care without crates, grooming without stress, and showing up fully for pets who need a little extra love. Whether we’re walking your reactive dog, soothing a shy cat through their first bath, or helping you troubleshoot behavior challenges, we’re here to be the team your pets can count on.
Meet Sid
Hannah “Sid” has always loved animals–an Elvira-from-Animaniacs-type her cousin once said. Before jumping feet first into their animal care career, Sid worked in banking and food service where they gained valuable skills that transferred to managing a small business. In 2016, she took on a shelter management position and has been involved in local animal welfare efforts since. Their special skills include driving the salon, singing or entertaining the nervous pets, overseeing QAC’s social media, and studying with the International School for Certified Dog Trainers.
Sid enjoys yoga, listening to audiobooks, patio sitting with a margarita, swimming, and all things self-care.

Meet Sage
Sage’s passion for grooming began at an early age, when they researched how to bathe their first cat, Zoie. Since then, their personal pets have been receiving at-home spa days and nail trims since. Meeting the needs of shelter pets was important to Sage, and they saw a gap in grooming needs being met in the shelter setting, starting to give intakes a bath as part of their intake process. After moving on from their shelter career, they trained at Northland Animal Welfare Society for grooming in 2020. Since then, they have continued their education by enrolling in the National Cat Groomer’s Institue and additional certifications through Barkleigh. Learning from other pro groomers online with Super Styling Sessions has also provided continuing education. They look forward to attending Super Zoo, the largest animal expo, in August!
In their freetime, Sage enjoys playing kickball, gardening, hiking, and hanging out with friends.
